90 rated flat horse, who stayed 1m 4f on the flat. Had one run over hurdles at Sedgefield and won by 5 lengths, beating Lunar Orbit who reappears in this race. In good hands with James Owen and with Champion Jockey Sean Bowen, he is likely to be bang there,

2 runs in Ireland for Donnacha O'Brien. Beat in both starts but was 1 length second in a 1m 4f Maiden. Switched to Paul Nicholls, who is competent with horses of this level. Sometimes Paul Nicholls horses need the first run but this horse is a likely type to feature.

Successful novice hurdle campaign, winning 2. Was pulled up on last start of the previous season and it may be likely he did not stay 2m 4f but we drop back to 2m for this outing. Now goes chasing. A likely type to improve for a fence due to his size. Team are good at getting one ready for the first time out.

Has had a fruitful summer campaign, winning twice and being second twice. Stays further than todays two mile trip and has previous chase experience. Ground is yet to turn slow, so could yet run a big race as he did on Summer ground.

Very consistent over hurdles and fences. Won 2 races through Summer, but on Good to Soft and Soft ground. He ran well at this meet last year, finishing a close 2nd. No reason for him not run well again.

Ultra-consistent mare, who has won 3 races on Good ground this year. Has won over 3m 1 1/2 at Warwick, only 18 days ago. Comes here race fit, where some rivals may need the run. Nico de Boinville takes over from James Bowen.

Won his final bumper at Haydock by 8 lengths. Was 2nd at this meet last year over hurdles and on Soft ground. Won 2 of his 3 next starts. Only 5 years old, so should bring in bags of improvement. Coming from a yard that holds a lot of respect and who everyone hopes will do well.

Won 2 good mares hurdle races at Chepstow and Cheltenham on Good ground, back against both sexes here. Had a recent run on the flat at Newbury, so she is fit and ready for this race. Can't be underestimated.

Prolific novice hurdle campaign, with three wins and one 2nd in 4 runs. Won at Bangor-On-Dee by 11 lengths, but they did claim 7lbs with the jockey. Sam Twiston-Davies takes over this ride. Comes in to this race fit from a top yard.

Won a bumper in 2023 for Nigel Twiston-Davies, then had a short hurdle campaign, winning 1 before being bought by French trainers. Only had 1 good run out of 4 for the French and returned to Twiston-Davies, seeming to lose his way after his trip across the sea. Came back with a comfortable win at Perth at the end of September. Has a bit to find on ratings but won 16 days ago and could follow up.

Joined Joe Tizzard in 2022, where he ran a bumper and 2 hurdle races. Then had wind surgery and finally won his first race at Taunton in November 2024, off a rating of 98. Followed up a week later at Wincanton, increasing his rating to 107. Had a poor run at the end of 2024 and then had another win surgery and 4 months off. When coming back in 2025, he won all 3 of his starts and is now rated 120 over hurdles, but due to this being a chase, he is off 115, giving him a higher chance.

Won a bumper in Ireland by 6 lengths. Joined Tom Lacey and has run 7 times, 6 of which he has not been out the top 3. The only blip on his record is when he fell at Wetherby. Returns after 4.5 months and recovered from a wind surgery. Looks a likely contender.

Paddy De Pole
Joined Paul Nicholls after winning a Point-To-Point. Ran poorly 3 times over hurdles, all at Wincanton. Dropped to a rating of 100 and then run 3 in a row off 100, 107 and 109. Handicapper raised him to 118, where he was nit out of the first 3 in 4 runs. First 2 runs of 2025 were poor, but he banged back to form at Sedgefield, under conditional jockey, Freddy Keighley, who rides this race.
